This I could believe.

Him talking about buying scotch for posters on vn just seems forced. Like us simpleton coors light drinkers are just gonna think "well he drinks scotch so he must be rich. Rich people are boosters. He's a booster."

Just hard to believe a legit source is trying to punk the AD on twitter with 240 followers.

Lol.

All goes back to two things that will likely always be true about the UT fan base, (1) one of the most proud and devoted, and (2) one of the most gullible.

I think that's because it was "old news" in the Gruden thread and on VQ. It was mentioned weeks ago he was buying a house in Knoxville. So that excitement was many many roller coaster rides ago. Non believers like to say it's just him buying a house for his son or it's a retirement home for his wife to be close to family but that he still isn't going to take the job.

And the most interesting part of that house story is that apparently the house he bought wasn't even on the market and was owned by none other than Haslam.

Bingo

Whoa there gramps, don't break a hip with that aggressive post! I wouldn't ban you. You are a national treasure. I'd put you in a museum next to all the other fossils.

Nothing listed on the web is going to show Gruden just yet. Takes a while for that data to end up in online records.

You can look up who owns the house on kgis.org

Real estate transactions would be where it would be found. Not sure how that works though. Doubt Gruden is securing a loan for it.

Crazy nice house.

Like I keep saying.. Currie is batting 1000 so far at UT.

-brought back Lady Vols
-Handled baseball search wonderfully and got a great candidate.
-jump starting further renovations to Neyland.

Stop assuming he’s fumbling the butch/coach situation just bc we’re all in the dark.

Being in the dark is what is making this a horrible football season for us, the fans.

No one likes being in limbo especially when there rivals are #1 & #2 in the country or have the chungs to fire their coach for not living up to standards.

The fans should be in the dark at all times. Leaks in an AD/Front office/Locker room are never good.

Takes a while. Weeks at minimum.

There’s plenty of posters in the gruden thread that are apparently realtors and are scouring the MLS database and other databases daily so once the records transfer over we will know. They did say could be up to 60 days before it does.

I'll agree with this, but something would be nice. Even the standard I back my coach from the AD would be good right now. Then we would know for sure that Butch is gone

I agree with you on the leaks. But gives us something.

I would have been happy with firing Jones after getting laughed at by Georgia. And then Alabama. Throw SC and KY losses in their and virtually anyone could do a better job.

You threaten to "go to Tech games" and give up UT about 3 times a day...... 😂

Waiting for them to do something. Will know once we see what it is. My rep called this week and I told him no on anything and would call him after some more time has passed. Four tickets to tech on 20 lower bowl is 1800. UT 7000. So I expect a Paul Johnson. Need to hire someone four times better.
