Interesting perspective...
We are fairly certain that Gruden is in, the academic side is in, and at least 85% of the boosters are in.
If Haslam is the holdup, and it appears he is, Currie is boxed in from all sides.
Perhaps he would try and communicate to get the masses involved.
You say that, but somehow even my high school coach knew if we werent performing right and he was essentially a one man show. ( Brent Hubbs father I might add)
Are you telling me no coaches approached the player after he failed to line up correctly to give him a chatting? His level of consciousness would have been on display right then. And no player said hey Kendrick aint right?!?
Im sorry but I dont buy it.
And if it were true, I still see it as a massive lack of oversight if something that big could be missed that long.
It wasn't an overblown fantasy in 2012. I have confirmation on that from someone involved in those negotiations who has never been on VN.

Exactly...a big massive over-sight!
The guys/gals in the booth are looking at everything (on field, sideline, etc.) for any signs.
Teammates, sideline coaches, training staff, waterboys, officials, booth staff, SEC person in booth who's only job is to watch the players on the field for symptoms of head & neck injuries and then communicate & stop play to ensure any such player is examined. You say that, but somehow even my high school coach knew if we werent performing right and he was essentially a one man show. The commentators did point out that it was inexcusable for him to line up that far off the ball. Even they ( who dont know players) notes an irregularity. Not buying no one else did
I asked this yesterday and I'm not sure anyone answered. Is there a precedence set for a head coach being suspended for something like this?
This right here....all day long. No one said a word to anyone? "Hey, Kendrick's not right." I could see Butch not knowing. But, you will never convince me that no one on that sideline knew he had a concussion.
Sorry if already asked, or posted. But i am not a tweeter. No social meadia at all. But what was said by the Beave that was so bad. Can any of you guys/gals that have twitter please post?
Thanks in advance.

I agree here. Leaving him in charge after a possible negligence until a full investigation is undertaken, in my opinion, could bring the university into question as to failure of oversight.
I think UT has egg on our face if we dont at least suspend him.
Would love to get some of the lawyers opinions.
HC's usually get canned not suspended.
There has been very little regarding this topic. If anyone has a problem here it is WW if what has been stated is true (he knew and convinced the player to play) and did not inform the medical staff. CBJ was clear he wouldn't have put a player in danger. I believe him.
Do not take this as support for CBJ being retained.
I've posted about this several times.
As far as suspension, I don't think that you would be able to justify a suspension for mere negligence, as opposed to an intentional act. In this case, what you have isn't even an alleged act, but an omission, or failure to act.
So without something overt or intentional from Butch, he coaches. I think he is still here because the University has to nail down everything they can with their investigation, and as long as he is there Butch MUST cooperate with that investigation. I guarantee, the lawyers are trying to figure out the cleanest way to part ways while still covering themselves for possible legal action on the concussion front.
Come on! There's no way in the world for the head coach to know every detail about every player on the sideline which paying to attention to what's happening on the field.
The SEC has procedures in place which take head injuries out of coach's hands.
I've never been a big Butch fan but this is simply a witch-hunt to find ANY reason to fire him.
I know they said he got the concussion early in the game, but what if he had one recently and they played him knowing he had just had one? There's got to be much more to this story for his mom having gone to Currie so quickly over this.
