Why do people want Gruden, he was fired from his last coaching job has never been a college head coach and most of all was never considered a good recruiter. He would not be a good choice.

Wrong. He's still here, info was apparently not good. Also the concussion leaks should have sped this decision up, not slowed it down.


Wait, the same AD that's a chess piece? And you earlier said you didn't have access to the AD, so how did you think you knew the timing of this when it's up to someone that you don't have access to or otherwise interact with??? I have to say, in this scenario the AD DOES seem like the player and YOUR SOURCES sound like the chess pieces. It would seem to me that if Currie is totally in control of the timing and press, and especially considering no deal has been leaked or announced yet, he is the one playing everyone else.




Vague, and untrue to date. Notice a trend of going from confidently witholding specifics to putting the onus on other parties? So which is it? Do you know info about the timing, or are you at the mercy of a 3rd party that you have no access to??



So Gruden wants the job allegedly, and now "they have folded"....so what is the holdup?

The end result is someone jabbering on for days and days with only vague statements about knowing inside information and occurrences, none of which have come to pass.

Not trying to say Gruden isn't going to be coaching us next year, but PLEASE stop giving trolls total control of your mind on here and feeding them. It makes the actual inside info harder to recognize and piece together.

In his first posts he 100% guaranteed it was a done deal with zero chance of failure. Everyone believed him because he said he was wealthy, and knew someone at a golf course. Now he’s worried about Currie? It’s either a done deal, or it never was. Can’t be both.

That's true, and could potentially change my opinion since they were removed before I could read, but given the nature of every post since then I'm skeptical at best.

I don't doubt entirely that Beaver may know someone close to the situation, but his information is clearly not to be relied on thus far. The best scoop I've seen is that betting odds would drop. Of course with 2 trips to Knoxville in a 3 week period planned (SCAR game and Homecoming) that's a very safe bet. Also Gruden or Kelly are virtually the only coaches that even COULD be named HC at this point since all of the others are actively coaching other teams.
