If there really is a power struggle occurring behind this whole fiasco, it only makes sense that were seeing this power struggle play out before our very eyes in the form of a targeted information war. It is evident in this very thread (and others like it on other forums) and in the media. It seems fairly clear to me that folks like MIT and Bubba have been sent out by one side to fan the flames that JG can be had. It has been implied that hired professionals might even be in use for this purpose.
Perhaps the opponent didnt expect such a direct and effective information onslaught, but once known, a response would be required. As we know, certain media members and other insiders are now consistently saying that the chances of landing JG are nearly zero a calculated response from the opponent intended to extinguish the flames of information being fanned by the JG camp. Its fully logical to expect a response, and most likely at least one reason why MIT predicted a rise in articles saying that JG would not be a good college coach.
I would think its useful for the targets of this information war the average UT football fan to be aware of what is happening. At a minimum, it should make everyone aware of the overwhelming importance of the average football fan in the outcome of this very painful process. After all, the only power that anyone is able to wield is the power given to them by others.
I like the way you think.
