I don't see how any of this makes UT a desirable landing spot for any top tier coach. Recruiting class is shot, roster is a mess and now you have legal troubles.

A good coach can fix all of that... real fast.

And their not scared of it.

(unless we are in real legal troubles :cray:)

What's the matter rev...you buying the BS being spewed here and getting your feelings hurt? Truth is I don't find it very funny that some get off on misleading people because SOME actually hold hope to some of the lies being told in here. I don't find it comical at all. I think maybe you and your lying friends should be the ones to leave...I like that idea much better.

Man I’m just sick of these people crapping in here. Stop coming in here and trying to call everyone out. It’ll all play out. Like high school or something.

Agreed. And they won't stay out, no matter how many times they are shown the door.

Isn't this the 11th grade forum? I think I am in the wrong place :hi:

I’m going the December the 30th. Don’t for to go online now and get your fast passes.

We are pros at this now… Already have them. My wife books them the first available time 60 days out. We make our eating reservations six months in advance.

Watched the replay today and he looked out of it the entire second half. On our last possession when Richmond gave up a sack, the next play Kendrick was out, Thomas moved to RT, Robertson went to C, and Ryan Johnson went to LG for the final 22 seconds. Kendricks wasn't hit at all on that last play or the series before when he went out. (Hit as in anything to the head)

I also noticed that he was putting his hands on the sides of his helmet and looking down like his head hurt several times after plays were over. If you watch presnap before the last play he was in, he either threw up on the field or nearly did.

Whoever played this Kendrick/Hurd card, was the one holding the pocket aces. If more skeletons come out of the closet, it could wreck this deal if it hasn't already.

The smokescreen theory is really hitting this afternoon with the local media. Hyams with his article he posted on Gruden, Swain on the Finebaum podcast nervously laughed off the chances of JG coming to UT as if it wasn't possible... when the last few weeks he's been praying for Gruden to come and acting as if it's very possible. All of the sudden the tampa bay talk - all seems like legit smokescreen stuff. Even with all of that, still nothing solid on the JG front.

BEAV... give us something SOLID - I've bookmarked your profile, followed every post, sleep-talking "but MIT_Beaver said..", but I'm gonna feel like an idiot when this all falls through again.

This is lame. The University is responsible. He's a representative of the University. Even if he's not "in the process" technically, he has to own it. Can't just say, it's not my job. Makes it all seem like a cover up. He has to be human here and not just blame everyone else - whether it was his responsibility or not.

If he immediately responded by atleast acknowledging the issue, and saying the coach who was notified by Kendrick was suspended while investigation took place then maybe he'd be in the clear. But that never has occurred. They still would be talking about it if it wasn't leaked. And still the coach who was notified hasn't had any known repercussions from this.

That's where Jones is really at fault. Even now nothing is being done about it, even after it was brought to light from a leak.

Not if it's signed and the only thing changing is the date. I'm the optimist

DISCLAIMER: I have never claimed insider info, nor have ties to the UTAD. With that said, I've got a small crumb of info to share. Wanted to say this last week but didn't ask if I could, until today, so here goes.

Friend of mine (prior boss), has a really good friend that has close ties to the Jones family and occasionally gets tickets from them. His friend was asking the family about how things were going and if he would be able to get some tickets. Basically, he was told that they (the Jones') did not anticipate being in Knoxville past Thanksgiving. The reason I am finally bringing this to the board is because it lines up with what others have reported that Jones knew around the Georgia or USCe game that he would not be retained.

Take it as you wish, just passing along info.

I can't remember where I heard it...maybe 3 and out, not sure...but I heard somewhere he did vomit on the field. Not sure the validity of that...

My feelings aren’t hurt at all. But you know what this thread is about VS. People know people and share that info. What if it doesn’t turn out to be true? Then TN will hire a coach and games will be played and we will all gather on Saturdays to cheer. That’s it. You nor I have any control over it. So enjoy the ride of what could be.
Also, I’m grown like most of the others in here and I don’t need you or anyone also to come in and be an emotional protector. You don’t agree, fine. You believe Gruden is a pipe dream, cool. Wecan discuss it. But you know what you’re getting into in this thread. It’s Gruden XXVI not Gruden II.
