Well, of course an article would say that. I'm waiting to see something from the investigative side of it. Impartial med staff hired by the SEC is part of the safeguard. It is a liability buffer provided by the SEC and agree upon by the Universities to prevent them being sued by players or families. It would take some pretty aggressive moves by the coaching staff to circumvent that.

I'm all for the result we want, just trying to be level headed and non-inflammatory.

Gotcha, I was just responding to you saying that you haven't seen any allegations that the coaching staff knew. You can find videos of Kendrick fumbling around the field and getting penalties. You'd think a trained spotter would see that.

Also, Walt Wells absolutely spoke to Kendrick post concussion, and according to the statement released by Currie, is also trained to spot concussion symptoms.

I'm assuming Butch could be held liable, from a for-cause contract standpoint, for the actions of his coaching staff.

I really have a problem. I am admitting it. I am on VN, have the Drive playing and I am monitoring Finebaum.

Should I be this invested? Probably not, but I can't help it.

I have been away since this morning (some of us do have to pay the bills). It appears I have missed nothing other than the normal after melt down. Am I wrong? If so, please give me the cliff notes version. I don't have time to skim through a bazillion name calling messages.

there is now a super motel in FL to stay in

There is currently a power struggle of sorts in the leadership of the "boosters."
Certain boosters went against the wishes of others in the last coaching hire, as they did not want to give up power.
Feelings we're hurt and new alliances were formed.
I feel like a lot of powerful people have been planning this current situation for the last five years.

That makes sense. Anybody that thinks this process is anything but intricate is naive.

I realize everyone is caught up in the concussion story right now but I would love to know the story behind Antone resigning.

Per 24/7 sports, sounds like it was a build up due to a hostile work environment, i.e. paying for his own travel expenses to games and having job responsibilities repeatedly taken away.

I agree. Because it could be a really bad sign. If he was unhappy, but KNEW Butch was gone, one would think that he would stick it out to see who will be the new coach.

Tells me that no decision has been made.

I can’t believe we don’t have an insider on campus who is roommates with gruden’s son.

In most fraternities this kind of stuff would be kept internal. When you see a guy every day, the fact his dad is someone huge wears off. Not to mention the trust involved with keeping your best friends' business personal. I had a few buddies whose dads were big wigs, and when they made the news, we maybe made a joke or comment and then left it. There was no need or desire to discuss it externally.

All this to say, don't expect them to leak much from AGR.

Thank goodness. That's when my vacation starts! That means I won't be hiding in bathrooms in Disney world trying to figure out what's going on!

Had 2...I know everything is crazy now..but had to..my only troll post

Apparently he wants Voldormort (he who must not be named)to be the new coach.

As far as "He Who Must Not Be Named"........

Do. Not. Want.

He always loses the big one AND loses to a kid that doesn't have the experience (that you'd at least like to see on paper).

Wow. That is something to think about for sure. If you are not happy at work but are aware your boss won't be your boss for long, why leave abruptly?

I believe pointing out insider information that doesn't match up with reality is not "trying to stir this stuff up".

I don't particularly care to hear anyone's opinion on this, and I don't use this thread as a random chat room.

If we stop caring whether any of the info is actually true, speculation gets posted as fact, and people run with it.

Then, those of us actually trying to deduct real information from what is posted here are unable to do that. Because the only things that get discussed are the things people want to hear.

okay, cool. we're all on the same page then.
so why you being so confrontational?
or am i the only one that perceives this?
if i am, i'll apologize.

okay, i'm caught up again ... would still like to hear an answer ten titans. thanks.

I'm trying to figure out what exactly are you bringing to this thread?

again, i'm caught up, and still haven't heard a response orangeswarm22. i'd like to hear your response. thanks.
