Gruden was lined up and waiting, Strong was told not to take the job, as was Butch. Each was courted by Hart.
The University of Tennessee has yet to hire a football coach without the ok of Haslam.

Today was supposed to be THE day right and nothing absolutely nothing... in fact news that we were turned down if I recall from Bro maybe?

Several days ago it was stated on here by someone that there was a power struggle at the top of the boosters. A lot of very wealthy and important people were left with egg on their faces after Butch was hired. People that do not like to be embarrassed. They have had five years to come up with a better plan.

Deep breaths everyone.

It's Halloween. Even major players have families. They are probably not making things happen at this moment.

Checking out is probably a healthy thing for all of us to do from time to time. I know I've obligated myself to days of catch-up for how much time I've spent here and other places.

If it is going to happen, it will happen.

If it is not going to happen, it won't happen.

We're not crazy for seeing the smoke. There's definitely something happening behind the scenes.

Even if we're totally wrong, I've thoroughly enjoyed the process of getting lost. It's been a pleasure.

Nothing happened that makes the outcome we want less possible. No news is a maintenance of the status quo. Until the status quo changes, enjoy your families, your life, and take a shower.
