I'm seriously confused about the vitriol towards the "academic side" of the university. Without strong academics we don't have billionaire boosters coming down the line. It is a circle that must be connected. No one wins by hating the academics.

My beef is not with academics. As a two time grad, I obviously believe in and support the academic side. My issue is with the faction of the academic side that has an agenda designed to marginalize or altogether eliminate athletics. The abject hate of the athletic department is just as ridiculous as trying to support athletics while maligning academics.

There are obvious skeptics but folks vouching for posters as well. There are a few other threads stating same things over there. Some in line with Boro.

I have had Beav on ignore for several threads now but at some point there was a reference about him making a list of those refuting his info or something like that in a quoted post. I was joking about "making the list" don's read too much into what I said lol.

Maybe they got into it over the concussion and butch was mad about getting fired with cause or he had to agree to a reduced buyout.

I know a lot of people in the media and they are on high alert again from their powers that be. At least 3 are as soon as Boro posted what was on TOS (I am only on VN and until this thread rarely posted for a while) I called a couple friends and because I heard it directly from them that they are expecting news out of the AD again. Could be nothing, could be something. After Sunday I am not putting too much stake in it but it is not blanket false that something is going on there.

It's probably just to invite everyone to the parade on Cumberland for the first time since the 80's....lol
