Right -- like I said, I have no idea why anyone listens to anything he says. He is not a journalist, broadcaster, columnist and is not good at being an analyst.

I guess my point is, if he isn't a journalist, broadcaster or columnist, and he isn't any good at being an analyst, why is he in local sports media?

We were contemporaries on The Hill. I liked him as a wide out. I find him to me a rumormongering know-nothing at his current job though.

I've been to Starkville but it was back in the 70s so I'm sure much has changed. My recollection is it was remarkably unremarkable.

Anyway, having read where Mullen's wife would escape to Orlando to shop made me Google to see how much Starkville had changed since I was there. Since my "research" had to do with Mrs. Mullen, I obviously Googled Starkville shopping. Here's the link to the University Square...

There's more pressure to win right away at Florida. No doubt about it. They're not used to not winning the east. We would adore the next coach that wins the East here.

This is probably one of the selling points in UT’s favor. Fans are so hungry for success that any HC that can make the Vols truly competitive in the SEC again (and win a championship along the way) can become an instant legend.
