I think he's saying he knows some folks who may or may not know some things. Therefore, any info he shares should just be taken for what it's worth and not as definite

The people who seem to have the highest-level booster connections are saying there's a cherry deal on the administration's plate. People who know folks in the AD are saying it's unlikely we hire Gruden, which doesn't really contradict what people like Beaver are telling us but instead suggests that the administration is looking for a way to wriggle out of this thing without burning down the program.

This decision was reached after considerable analysis of proposed savings and a close examination of our current and future operations.

He told him this over a month ago and the last time I talked to him he said he had not heard anything else so expected things were going good. That was almost 2 weeks ago when he told me that. I haven't heard anything else to this point. He did that in the conversation over a month ago that this Booster told him Gruden was far and away choice number 1 and that if there was a number 2 that most of the big dogs wanted Frost. Vol fan my entire 52 years on Gods earth, this is just what has been told too me. It's the truth believe it or not I cannot control that. SOON PLEASE SOON!!!! GBO!!!!! GET IT DONE!!!!!

Didn't I read this weekend (or maybe Monday?) someone talking about BetOnline would take down the TN coaching position odds on Tuesday? Who posted that?

(sorry if this has already been discussed, I honestly haven't had time to go back and read the thread today).

YES... this has been on their site all along that on 10-31 it would come down.... That is really not the news, that many are making of it

Is turning down this proposal good or bad? That is an important question. Who are the stakeholders in this company and do they overlap with UT (doubtful). If they do where do their loyalties lie.
