I think they don't get announced unless they aren't appealed but I agree it looks unlikely he was fined. I don't think that is tue kind of think you appeal so I am betting I was wrong.

Yes, but the in-state competition is much fiercer for it. And, Gainesville is not that close to South Florida, though, I admittedly do not know how well UF recruits that area from year to year.

Which exactly why they are shotty coaches. You don’t listen to fans ever. Hell if we’re going 8-4 every year we have 100k+ in the stands every Saturday and going 8-4 should be no problem at UT then the fans are irrelevant.

USC has higher expectations but nobody in the city is paying attention to the program. Miami is in the same boat. Their fans expect to sit atop their conference and be a national power. But they don't bother to show up for the games.

Pressure mounts when expectations are not met.

I expect Sexton to market Mullen aggressively and leverage every shred of interest to land him a nice raise and extension at MSU... where he will stay. I think the Mullens like being the First Family of Starkville and aren't all that eager to trade up.

I think that's true. Their kids have been born and raised there and I've heard that Mrs. Mullen likes Starkville.

Stay at MSU and leave as the best coach they've ever had or leave for a bigger school with higher expectations but better chance at national prominence.

Either way he's a rich man, which is why I feel like it's more than just about money.

Yet both programs constantly fire coaches (for whatever reason). Our fans show up regardless.

I heard it with my own ears and Hargis never prints and runs with it unless he did as well and he did. One who was contacted is still a D1 coach at a school we played last year. Don't care what you believe but it was put together by boosters then just like now. Hope all are on board but beginning to think they are not but they are trying AGAIN.

No one doubts boosters tried to get Gruden then or now.
