If your definition of a troll is somebody attempting to push the fan base to behave in a certain way as to try to influence people in the decision making process, then...

Man I just want Tennessee to wake up and restore power into our program. It's been since 01 that we really had an invested effort. I'm not a troll or an influencer. I just think there needs to be a shift in powers and money talks with these people evidently.

Yep. I admittedly got caught up in his guarantees and confidence for a while. You want to believe when they're telling you exactly what you want to hear. I have no idea what to think about all of this anymore, to be honest.

This is my opinion on all of this. Boosters approached gruden. Have a deal they set up that HE has agreed to. The admin has not. Not to say they won’t, but have not yet. There is a stirring up of the fan base going on the raise expectations to force the hand of the admin. MIT is part of that. He’s essentially said as much.

The done deal talk is in reference to an agreement, not that he’s on the hook and landed by the school.

The goal here is the get the admin to raise the bar. Shoot for gruden. But if no on gruden, get a winner. Quit playing the cost benefit game and get some wins.

That’s what’s going on.

I never saw anything about a cutoff date. I actually put money on it and read all of the terms before doing so.... Granted, I could have missed that part.

The odds everyone has been talking about that had Gruden at +10000, then dropped to +800, +650 and +250 were from a prop bet on BetOnline. That prop bet has been taken down and replaced with one for Florida's HC.

So they are no longer taking bets on Tennessee's Head Coach.

This could mean a number of things... But it's odd they took it down before Butch has even been fired. One stipulation of the bet was that if Butch was retained, all bets would result in "no action" (meaning you get your money back). So thinking Butch might stay would be no reason to take it down.

Folks, please. That prop bet always had a close date of today. Stop grasping at straws.

Hopefully, folks are paying attention to your 3rd bullet item. This a significant point. Some get caught up in the troll vs. insider labels and miss the dynamics associated with a complex negotiation. One side is leveraging all the tools at their disposal. Good job.
