Official Jon Gruden Thread XXV

Some of you people are going to need a support group if Beaver proves to be a fraud. I'd love to see Gruden coach at UT...just don't see it happening. He's an NFL guy...flame away!

Beaver will just change his name. Dr Jerry Punch said he has talked to Grudens people and the same as 2012. Thanks but no thanks.

If you believe you know specifics, why would you choose to throw out these vague lines instead of sharing the specifics?

I'm skeptical because it's conveniently been brought up after being discussed in this thread previously. Not saying he's a troll, and I like pretending everything I read about Gruden coming to UT is true, but if he were a troll, that would be the thing you'd work with, because you know you can get a reaction out of it.

Because this is a message board and we are not entitled to have that information. The Beaver is a privilege, savor it, relish in it.

Unless he's singed an NDA (which I find unlikely as that would put him in quite a privileged position,) then I don't see the need to be vague about details you claim to be aware of an a fan site using the name MIT_Beaver.

I want to believe the Beave, but I think the facts are too loud to ignore here:

There's currently a campaign to "Empty Neyland" saturday, which, if even 50% successful, would result in somewhere in the ballpark of $5M revenue loss to the University AD. If there was a plan in place that could actually BOOST revenue at Homecoming (firing Butch, especially coupled with a replacement announcement), they would DEFINITELY pull the trigger given the alternative. Some have said there are financial concerns surrounding the timing, but there's NO chance they're concerns to the tune of $5M. This leads me to believe Curry does not have a deal in place, and does not expect one imminently.

I'd love to hear that I'm wrong and that Gruden is locked up, but it does not correlate with what we're experiencing right now with the AD.

Giants? May be tall enough to wade in?

If you did a bit of research you'd already know. Wights cannot swim, true. Can they be commanded by the Night King to sink to the bottom of lake, where a dead dragon is and tie some chains around it? Yup. The dragon gets pulled up, the couple of wights that sunk to the bottom and tied chains around it are stuck there. Its so odd that there are people who like GoT enough to ask these kinds of questions but dont actually look up the possible answers. You just assume plot hole and bash it.
