Exactly how I feel. I don't live near Knoxville, nor have season tickets, but I wouldn't miss the game if I had the choice. The last game I got to see was homecoming last year with my son. Just being in the atmosphere was worth the drive, the game was a bonus.

I took the "Pocket Aces" reference to be boosters withholding funding needed for AD projects unless they fall in line. Just my opinion...

Have you witnessed Tenn football the last 10 years? Our relevance in college football is about on par with Vandy.

Gruden would be the most exciting thing to happen to Tenn since we won our NC.

I agree, completely. There have been too many people talking about this date, and talking about a "Tuesday."

However, I'm not convinced of something happening tomorrow being a true harbinger moment. It could be a whisper that grew, it could be significant. I'm not going to lose faith until I'm told directly by Currie on camera.

We were also told by almost all of the insiders that they didn't have information about the timing. The core group (boro, ATL, MIT, bubba, DTO) all were consistent in that point. The more recent leaks point to the 31st, but I'm not positive that's a defining moment.

I think, while the date/dates (10/31, 11/3) could have certain effects, is certainly not the whole thing. I think it’s a stumbling block that must be reached first. I think if you are saying, “we know X tomorrow”, you are setting up yourself and many others for a downhill ride on the rollercoaster.

He and his staff would be the closest thing to Nick Saban out there.

Stephen Hargis at the TFP (not sure if he's still there) put his solid rep. on the line saying there was a deal and the AD botched it.

Above all else, Currie is a money guy. He's seen what Saban has done for Bubba.

So sure, could the exact same things be going on from the booster side this time around? Absolutely, it's why we're hearing a lot of the same stuff. I'm hopeful this time that we have an AD that can seal the deal.
