I would imagine that could rub a lot of coaches the wrong way. You know they are calling Mac to talk him about the job the moment Florida contacts them. Remember Counzo talked Charlie strong out of coming here. Hopefully Mac does the same with a few good names they try to get.

Would be nice. Maybe Currie's strategy of holding on to Jones will pay off for this reason.

Not to mention their facilities are close to the worst in the SEC.

He was always a project. A 5* but still needed a couple years to develop. Offensive tackles should be starters when they are juniors and seniors. Lifting weights when they are underclassmen.

I think Richmond could play. He’s gotta hit the weights though. All our OL look soft except one.

Taggart has about odds as Randy Shannon keeping the job. WT is respected in the coaching ranks but he had a losing record and he rubbed a lot of the High School coaches in Tampa the wrong way how he left South Florida. this is basically the new Rooney Rule for State schools in Florida about attracting minority candidates for head coaching job.

He had a losing record because he took over a crap team. Look at USF now and why would anyone be upset about a coach taking a job at Oregon.
