I hope Currie knows the years he has cut off my life, and my marriage. Between the drinking, the stressing, the obsessiveness, the heart break, the heart attacks(of watching a butch jones led team) and did i mention drinking? I'm beyond ready for this **** show to be over. Tired of losing to Vandy, Kentucky, South Carolina, getting beat by Florida teams that are far less talented, and not to mention a doormat for teams that are title contenders. Why is putting together a staff and a team so impossible for this University with such deep resources. It has been 20 years? We have been squandering and declining for the past 20 years. I think after loses to South Carolina and Kentucky in the same season, this is truly rock bottom.

When asked by me and others his only response was, he would not say who it was because it would have been to volatile....

I have always believed in my mind that it was the Gators... If true, they may now be in play :cray:

Any other school in the country would have fallen over to get a coach like Gruden. He wants to be here and our stupid admin is holding it up?!!!! How is this going to get fixed? This absolutely cannot fall through a second time. We won't get another opportunity like this.

Seems pretty simple. Believe MIT or not an agreement can be in place & be 100% agreed on in principle, until signed things can change. People just need to let it playout. I have been on here since 730 this morning wanting the same thing but im not going to lose faith until the AD gives me a reason to. For now I am just hoping he is working behind the scenes

I am referring to the fact that MIT posted in these thread several times statement like... "RELAX", "WE HAVE OUR WHITE WHALE", 'IT IS 100% DONE", "DON'T WORRY", "JUST WAIT AND SEE" etc....

If someone needs to sign off on the deal and it must be accepted before complete it is not done...

My business requires contracts everyday... I NEVER have a contract until it has been signed and sealed by both parties.... I have many times "Thought" I had a deal but it fell through at the last minute... Those type deals had a high percentage of chance of happening but they were NOT 100% sure

I HOPE MIT is correct... I believe what he and you are NOW revealing is very close to the truth... but we were at this same place in 2012 and the new news at Florida is BIG here,,, I hope we can get it done...

If one is representing the booster side in disseminating info and they have put forth an offer that Gruden has accepted in principle then it would be considered a 100% done deal from their side of the equation.

I HATE FLORIDA!!! BUT AT LEAST THWY MADE THE RIGHT DECISION !! And did what needed to be done!! Sadly they have beaten us to the punch, I sure hope Currie is slow playing this cause he has everything already in place!! If not He needs to be fired

If he refuses ten million at least we know that were looking for someone that can win now. Money probably would never be a factor with Gruden he would be looking for a challenge and an opportunity to become the best. If he doesn't have that ambition then no amount of money will make a difference when your already rich.

It may be telling that Florida acted so swiftly because they had to rip the rug out from under UT. I hate to say that, but I guess we will have to wait and see.

Maybe Currie is keeping Butch around because he knows the next coach ultimately won't be his decision. So, in order to pad his ego a little, he keeps Butch around a little longer in spite of the boosters.
