Fair enough. And I appreciate your steadfastness. That said, in one paragraph you're saying done deal. And in the next talking about offers still being on the table for people to accept/reject. Not saying you're wrong. I've just not heard enough to say 100%. Help me justify those 2 statements above.

I believe what he’s saying is, according to his information, the deal structured between Boosters and Gruden has been agreed to and there are no snags. Gruden has said yes to their offer and he’s been steadfast this time.

But, the deal has to get signoff by Currie, BOT, chancellor, etc. and the threat if the deal is rejected is pulled funding for future university projects.

Just my interpretation of what MIT is selling

If Florida announces some fantastic hire or even a Frost- unproven-on-a-big-stage hire, they still acted swiftly and kept the fanbase from getting to the boiling point.

I love how some people in this thread immediately shoot down "insiders" because they speak their opinion...but can state that they know for a fact that it's not true etc...

Hypocrites.

It's an opinion forum. Get off your forum moral authority.

Our AD isn’t that smart.... they could care less about fans bc they know ppl will still fill the seats

Describe in a gif what your reaction would be if FL hired Gruden by the end of the week

Let's say I agree... then what is the hold-up in announcing Butch fired and Gruden hired.... That is the part that has this board volatile ..... Not the BAD loss

Could it be more tied to how or when Gruden wants it public and not another humiliation on the field.

These are the same questions I have been asking for answers from him

Gruden accepted what he is talking about...done deal. Although there is no deal to be signed yet. Until there is there will be pushback because some people don't like giving up power.

I get ignored and that's fine, but this ain't rocket surgery.

And in response to your comment "I love you too". Ftr. You are one of the three I pay the most attention to.

If this is all going down how MIT says, the hang up seems to be admin signoff. Boosters went all in. Admin trying to see if they have the cards to call or fold and go with the deal

I think this could be pretty accurate.

This is counter to the 'boosters have all the power' argument. If that was true, then the admin would have to defer to the boosters no matter what.

I can appreciate you coming to his defense, but I'd rather hear his explanation since he's the one who seems to have all the answers and steps ahead of us in this whole thing. You may be right, though.

Please don't expect a direct answer; you won't get one. It will be yada, yada, BOT.....AA.......possibly......100%......if...

Then folks will come in to interpret it in their own words to show how you misunderstood the reply. The real question is why not just be very clear with the response. It's like a riddle everyday in here!
