Rick Barnes was a great hire for UT considering what the program was going through (3 coaches in 14 months or something like that)

Martin could likely get a show cause or similar with the recent FBI investigations. It involves some of his staff.

Plus it's pretty common knowledge that things weren't great with his behavior at Kstate

And Weber is a fine coach.

I've become numb at this point. I now know what its like to be a Vandy fan. I dont even care to watch anymore, even on TV. Been a fan since 92' but Im about done.

Check out the Pub. There are several options for tv now, such as DirecTV Now (I have this), You Tube TV, Sling, PS Vue.

Most have local channels now and HBO as add ons. Price is typically way cheaper than cable and satellite options. No contracts and no fees for boxes, HD, DVR, etc

With the sheer lack of action by the powers that be I wonder where all off the people in the know are today. There must be either the biggest want-a-be insiders or the most covert intelligent Atheletic Department of all times.

I would like to see the Vols do something just something one time that makes sense. They set on their thrones on the hill and try and out smart the people that are willing to do what ever it takes to get better. We just want it cheaper and that is the bottom line.

Haslem seems to be the man with the plan so lets look at his track record from the firing and hiring of the past coaches to the running of a business and a Pro football team......not very impressive. Also look at the things I just mentioned and what do they all have in common.....bought on the primise of saving and making money at all cost, no matter what the product is.

I think the discussions with Gruden and people on the Hill have happened in some form but I tend to be very doubtful that anything has happened. I also suspect contact has been made with the agents of other coaches including our favorite agent Sexton who is Butch's agent along with about half the coaches in the country.

I think we will get the same thing as usual unfortunately. We will be told Gruden was almost signed, Haslem messed it up, other to tier coaches we wanted have already signed with schools that pulled the trigger early and gave a sh*t about their programs and we ge
