It's safe right now. It will be really bad later.

Today may be a good day to lay low. Especially if there’s nothing of substance happening. I do find FL AD to be ruthless in how they’re handling Mac. I felt sorry for him after the game at his presser. He owned it. On the other hand, our AD says nothing and Butch just keeps stealing the fans time and money. Just very peculiar.

Sssssiiiiiigggggghhhhhh

I'm assuming you think I was just being a "Richard". I wasn't.

On another note. Something I've wondered and just can't remember.

I think Bubba was the one who brought up the "Scarabs". Do you remember if MIT ever commented on it? I don't think he did.

After getting roped in to spending the evening with several couples from my wifes work, I ended up watching last nights game in a college sports bar. There were probably 10 tvs showing the game and no one in the crowded place was watching it but me. Some wore orange but all were just laughing and drinking like the Vols were not even on. Thats when the apathy was made clear to me. We really have lost a generation of Vol fans and the state of the program may only be a concern for the older generations. I was so sad that the eye candy couldnt even bring me out of the dumps

Good morning. I'm desperate to hear something. Even if it's not what I want to hear. The silence is killing me.

I've been one of the very few who has thought Jones would coach out the entire season. With that said I see zero chance in him coaching next yr. I do truly think it will be Gruden. With that said, the longer this goes, I don't see how Currie can allow this to continue. If nothing else, he himself should come out and say something, anything.

A lot of the admin like CBJ as a person etc. I suspect they are working on a deal that everyone can live with and part ways as amiably as possible with both UT and CBJ doing what needs to be done for the betterment of the program.

I was under the impression that it was a done deal.

Florida gave a statement before their game yesterday. It may or may not have been all lies, but at least they SAID SOMETHING.

Oh no! I didn't think that! I was joining you in your lamentations.

Just bubba mentioned the scarabbeans.

Good morning gentlemen and glorious gorgeous lady Vols.

I’m just a big ole ball of nerves as I anticipate the announcement of the end of the Butch era.

Soon!!!

Based on what's been said on here (mostlyDocVol), I'm still banking on an announcement today or tomorrow. Am hopeful it's today so we can get Step 1 over with, but if the firing isn't announced today, yeah it's not going to be pleasant in here & I will still be on edge!

Okay, good.

That's what I thought. Pretty sure I remember MIT being here during that conversation, and I kept waiting to see what he had to say about it. It was really busy at the time and I got sidetracked and forgot about, but I don't think he ever said word about it.

Because of my opinion of him, I find that interesting.

My gut says they are representing 2 different major boosters both trying to put pressure on Currie/Haslam.

2 different boosters means 2 different ways of communicating the same thing.

Yea, I'm not going too deep with it. I just thought it was interesting that he said nothing about an entity that's motto is "To be Nameless".

He gets points for that.

One thing I was proud of last night was the way the players reacted. They played hard and inspired. They could have easily mailed it in, but I am glad to see that we have potential going forward.

Grude morn all. My wounds have not yet healed this AM but chin up. We have the Grude one coming to save us!

Why do we want Gruden so bad? He wasn’t really dominate in the NFL and he would be learning on the job. Do we just like his personality and assume it would translate into wins for a college team? It would take a few years to implement his type of offense too.
