I'm sure mediocre coaches just salivate when we're hiring. The job opens up every 4ish years and they know we have a propensity for hiring no-name coaches.

When Wes Rucker feels that he can write an article calling for Butch Jones to be fired, you know that the AD has let that cat out of the bag.

Seems to have calmed down. Said some things others have said before just went the wrong way about it. The old TN can't get great coaches because of the fanbase. I think TN can get whoever they want if they open the wallet and fix the control issues. To many factions pulling in different directions. If Bubba is right then this hire will be solid, if him and MIT are wrong....well..as they say in GOT...Winter is coming.

Sorry. Was driving home.

Was texted that Jones will officially be let go this coming week. I trust this guy. I can’t see a scenario that Currie let’s him stay on for one more game.

Thanks for the clarification. Thought that was what you meant, but wasn't sure if you were saying Gruden was "over."
