Just by reading some UF forums, their fans are wanting JM gone but I haven't seen much mentioning of Mullen. Frost is the UF fans #1 choice by a large percentage.

I really think it’s Mullen or finally Strong. If Strong’s team goes undefeated in regular season, that means USF beats UCF. Winner of that game is going to NY6 Bowl. If USF essentially runs the table, Strong could finally get his chance to come home.

Still think it’s Mullen over anyone. Guy would work wonders with Franks

We are wallowing around wondering if a close loss to KY is enough to fire Jones.

Exactly what I thought. If 7-5 or 8-4 isn't good enough, then don't be afraid to make a change. You might fail, true. But if what you have isn't working, do something besides sit there and let others pass you by.

This death threat thing is their Golden parachute. I thought when the Shark Humper made those "I feel sorry for these fans" after beating Kentucky. I thought this is multiple times of saying stuff like that. No fan base wants to hear their coach apologize for victory. But they can't fire him for that but if they can prove he made that stuff up about death threats then boom golden parachute.

Filling every seat has never been an issue with our fan base. But... I have a feeling the bean counters are thinking about losing the fan base if they don't step up. I fully expect a solid hire coming... soon.

When he blew them off as ignorance(clowns talking trash) he made the right choice. Bringing them up after the fact the way he did was poor judgement.

Handle it one way or the other but not both.

When it comes to death threats., the ones that give their name, those are the ones you pay attention to.

Coaches know when the nut stops taking their meds, all bets are off.

I will keep writing this! If the stands are full for So Miss and LSU there is a good chance you will have Jones as your coach next year. UT runs its AD like a business and as long as there are butts in the seats buying popcorn, hotdogs and spending money down on Cumberland ave they wont make a move . Its business as long as people are buying the product (fans showing up and spending money) they wont make a change in management. UT has never been as committed to winning as Bama And Fla in recent years. Every now and then we hit it right and have 10 yr spurts but then the well goes dry and they piddle around trying to economically win championships and you find us right where we are at. Alabama would go 10 million in the red to win championships UT wont and never has. Its a business to UT that makes money for the university and if its bringing in money and we win a few games then things are going good to the powers that be .
