TODAY, prepare yourselves ladies and gentleman, because it's gonna get crazy later this evening. up and downs will come today. There will be screaming at TV's Computer Screens and Cell Phones.

We shall see Dilly Dilly's and Dark Dungeons, Sightings and hints of Couch/Bed Burnings. Kiffin will continue to Troll Tennessee.

I will keep the faith and say SOON!!!

Ladies and Gentleman take my advice, Pull down your pants and slide on the ice!!!!

GRUDEN TO THE HILL!!!!

Dilly Dilly!:pepper:

A lot of discussion about will Butch be fired if we win the Kentucky game.... I am afraid we will never know..... The only ground offense we seemed to have was Kelly (he is suspended).... It is a game I think we lose and possibly in a Big way

A sad time in Vol History.........

SOON

Just a thought...
Maybe this just hasn’t been that difficult of a process. Maybe Gruden has bought a home because he knows its time to resume coaching. Maybe he said yes long before the negotiations heated up. I thinks it’s plausible that Gruden wants the job, knew he was going to take it and said “let’s work through the details as we go.”

This is my understanding. The work has been more on the booster side.

Nope, he sold out to his partner before I was born.

Sort of reminds me of Colonel Sanders when he sold KFC. He refused to take any stock in the sale because he did not understand how stock worked (the buyers begged him to take the stock, but he refused). In the end, his secretary became more wealthy than him because she took her stock in the company.

I haven't had fast food or soft drinks in over 10 years. It's really a hard thing to quit sometimes.

I quit fast food for 6 months once. Broke the streak with a Big Mac and threw up for an hour afterwards. Really told me how toxic that stuff is. Still can't quit it. I'm weak!

This is exactly what I believe

Occam's razor - especially easy to believe if you thought he was close to coming last time (& if you believe, as I do, that boosters approached Gruden & Hart balked... which is why Bcarter's posts are puzzling to me, he said he saw the contract, didn't he?)

Steve Wynn was at Tyson McGee last night meeting with Davenport....there's some big money that's moving the odds coming out of the wok chow sports book in Cleveland...tifiwiw, put down $10 gets a free parlay and an egg roll.

What is this "Tyson McGee" you speak of, is it in Las Vegas?

Knoxville's McGhee Tyson airport.

First of all, baptized Christian here. United Methodist.

Second of all, not to hijack the CJG thread and turn into a religion forum, but just a quick question. Totally serious - not mocking or trolling, or trying to offend........

Isn't it possible to "praise" someone (a mortal) but not have it rise to the level of "worship" - which I agree, should only be reserved for Christ. For example, you could "praise" a little kid for brushing his teeth or cleaning his room to build confidence and encourage further good behaviors.

Perhaps just semantics............

I was taught never to take the Lord’s name in vain and taught the same to my daughter. Hold fast to that doctrine but hear damn on a consistent basis and it doesn’t scar. Flowery language praising someone isn’t mocking God. There is enough of that going around so we don’t need to stretch the definition imo.

I had a Big Mac last year for the first time in many many years. Those two all beef patties with special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun are nothing like they used to be when I was young. I can understand why you got sick!

This is why I'm back for round 2.

As a reminder, there will be no noon or evening updates. Sorry folks, hopefully, this doesn't get so crazy today that I have to sift through 100 pages. It's extremely unlikely we're calm...

I think 100 pages is a low number. Today and this evening could bring record traffic, esp with a loss.
