I agree his program has been run clean. But his team has been run horribly, and his locker room has been a disaster for 2+ years.

I know you and Newt hate stories, and rumors.

We arent Bama, OSU, Clemson, etc... we have to earn the respect back because we are a joke 10 years in a row. Im just not sure if thats possible with Currie, Davenport, and Haslam.

I kinda have doubts that Currie made these decisions. This would be severe micromanaging. Just got to believe that if he thought so little of Butch's judgement and decision making that he felt he had to make the decision himself, he would just fire him now

Of course, that may be what he's going to do come Sunday or Monday. But under that circumstance it would make no sense to wait til after the season.

Pooping on the party, but if this is the only thing that is really working, I doubt they are going to do anything to make Gruden unhappy.

As good as gruden is as an announcer, it's MNF. It would be popular regardless of the announcer, and they might see it as one of the only places they could get significantly cheaper without losing any viewers

I just read the article. They have been firing some popular personalities (like Berman) and MNF is very expensive for them.

It's strange that the insiders mentioned cutbacks, and now this. They could go with someone for less pay.
