I made some mistakes at that age and was pulled over by the law more than once. I got lucky and had officers who told me to just go home. Did these players make a mistake? You bet, but the cop was a d!ck, plain and simple.
Welcome to the 21st century.
Well yeah, I knew what I was doing could possibly have these exact consequences if caught and I made that decision anyways. This guy over here though, hes the dick.
VFGL, I agree with what you're saying. One of my biggest pet peeves is that in today's world we always try to find someone else to blame. It sickens me at times. JK and WI gotta be smarter than to be riding around with a pipe, pot and a busted headlight. Ultimately, it falls on them.
That said, I view Tennessee football through a different lens. I'm selfish like that. Just want to win. Sick of losing. If I'm the cop I toss the pot and tell them to have a nice night. It's not as if they were robbing people. But I probably wouldn't have found pot in the first place cause I wouldn't be searching their car after pulling them over for a busted taillight. Who knows? Maybe there is more to the story and the cops actually were cutting them a break.
What they're doing is letting it play out. Nobody thought the season would go this far south. But it did and it appears they're sticking with the same strategy.
Currie doesn't want to fire Butch without it being absolutely necessary because whatever hire is made essential starts his clock.
He'll be tied to the next coach and he doesn't want people to say, if the next coach is a bum, that we should've just kept Butch.
I think perhaps he felt he had posted a little too much. I do not think that was his wife posting but was BB. It sounded like he was someone off his rocker like Vol Lady was and all of what he was posting before was the same gibberish. That is what he wants us to think. However, I think he was legit and had posted too much and someone told him to fix it. That coupled with him being gone. I think he will be back after a hire is made but maybe not or not as bald biker. Shame really if he never comes back.
Clock starts after this year no matter what.
Yeah, if this season goes the way it looks like it will. This team is garbage and won't make a bowl, and even if he reaches the target I think he'd leave on his own, but it seems Currie would like nothing more than to have this team win 8 games, give Butch and kick the can down the road.
Hes faster but he isnt JK. Tim Jordan has the same power/attitude as JK though. If butch were smart he would wear KY out with Jordan and then bring in chandler as the change of pace back to burn them for huge runs. But we will keep running the same 💩tier offense we have all yearI'm in the minority here, but I think Chandler is better than Kelly.
Excited to see what he can do with the bulk of the carries.
