Wow that is a nice pad for sure...

I am a luxury broker here in Windermere, FL — I am going to reach out to the agent under the guise of having a client here in Lake Butler Sound looking to move up to Knoxville — just feel him out about the house, and see if he casually mentions anything to me. What are the odds he would be worried that a luxury broker would be calling about the property for any other reason?

Will report back this afternoon.

If you find out any information, it would be really telling the kind of house. You would have one type of house if you were just moving to be closer to parents (with kids out of the house) vs. a house you would have if you had to host recruits, players, and staff.

As wishful as I am that this happens I cannot see it happening should we win. Only 90% sure it happens with a close hard-fought loss (yes I know its Kentucky). The only way I see it as a foregone conclusion is if we do not compete and get handed our a$$es or lose a close game due to several miscues which both are equally likely imo.

Can anyone name a coach at any D1 school that was on the hot seat and let go after a victory in an away in conference game? I cannot think of one......

It is my gut feeling too this is his last game but I also think we have very little shot at competing with the attitudes and off the field actions of the team, past history (see Umass, South Carolina etc...) and that gut feeling is based on the feeling that we will blow this game on the offensive side of the ball and wind our defense by the half. Would never root against the Vols but at the same time this team has shown nothing that makes me think we will compete at Kentucky at a level to beat the team that beat SCjr in Columbia and we could not beat them at home.

Another difference. We are coming off a 45-7 loss and are dejected and down as a fan base and in my opinion the team is as well. They are coming off a 45-7 loss and are pissed and out for blood, do not have any coaching drama or off the field drama to deal with.

The game at this point in time, means more to UK than it does UT. No different than a bad Mizzou, Southern Miss, and Vandy will be later in the schedule. Less LSU we are finishing with teams that will get up to beat a bad UT team because its UT.

What day of the week does Gruden come on Mike and Mike? Does he still do that? I remember in '12 people would listen to that segment for 'breadcrumbs'. It's also where Gruden pubically turned down the UT job before (I assume, after talks broke down). So, it'd be something good to tune into this go around.

Wednesday I think.

Let's see, it's on Lyons View, it's owned by Jimmy & Dee Haslam...I'm willing to bet that house has hosted many events.

How pissed are we all going to be if a week from now we are sitting here with Lyle Allen still the head coach at Tennessee?

I think that's more likely the case then not. Spoke to my ticket rep this morning about an erroneous charge on my c-card. I asked him if he's hearing anything, he said "No, just that he thinks Jones will be with us through the rest of the season." We have to be mindful, we look at it from a "fan" point of view. Currie's standpoint is strictly business doesn't have the luxury of bringing emotion in to it. Who knows...we'll see what happens.

Is someone in the ticket office going to be aware of the goings on behind the scenes?

Or, if they were aware, wouldn't they be sworn to give the same smokescreen-y answers that all the AD sources have been giving?

Orlando.. do you know of any antique wood dealers in that area? I'm trying to move my products into the Florida market. I have picked up a couple new buyers but I was told Orlando was one of the best markets for barnwood in the state. The margins are unreal.

But I'm having trouble locating buyers in the area.

If you know of anyone please let me know. Builders, dealers, anyone.

I would imagine they would say they have No idea, not hearing anything..it was just "his opinion." not a rumor. I also believe he knows nothing more then you or I do!

I think the buyout that was reached last week probably allows him to resign after ky or get fired after ky depending on win or lose.

I fully believe a negotiated lowered buyout has been agreed on which has been widely reported. I just cannot fathom a scenario where they present it as a resignation or termination after a win. Would be unprecedented in NCAA football. But as I said before I would not bet we win this game with anyones money but it would not surprise me. Probably the most even matchup since Umass and SCjr and home field was the reason we were in the SC game and the reason we won the Umass game imo.

They will have a clear view of all the seating in Neyland if he coaches through the season. I cannot see that happening at all, but if it the powers to be keep him out there the fans will send a BIG message. This has nothing to do with the players either and they darn well no that. SOON!!!!! GBO!!!! GET IT DONE

Why - on Earth - would Butch Jones agree to a lower buyout? The charts suggest otherwise.

Soon.

I really think they've been waiting for him to get picked up. I believe those contingencies were in the buyout. However, I can't imagine how potentially catastrophic it could be for him to be on the sidelines at Neyland again. That can't be lost on the powers that be.
