There's so much starting to leak. I think it's realOne guy in the Grumors thread stated he works out with Grudens nephew and said hes confident the deal gets done. LOL. I love grumors regardless of how its most likely false.
Also, another person stated Butch will be done after Kentucky whether he wins or not. Heard the same thing before the USCe game, and the Bama game..

I think there is genuine interest from Gruden, but I am still 100% in the believe it when I see him at the podium camp.
Also, I think anyone saying that Gruden definitely isn't coming is just as stupid as the people that are saying he is definitely coming. No one knows a thing this go around. I'll take the silence as a positive for now.
Currie may be better at all this than Hart. I think it's safe to assume so because Hart was terrible. However, as soon as this job comes open and agents start seriously talking to UT, guys like Hubbs and Hyams will know everything that's going on in the search.
Of course there's "silence" right now. There's really nothing to talk about other than "Hey, would you be interested in interviewing when the time comes?"

Just when I thought it was going to be a quiet Wednesday.....
Just a few more days.
I posted a week or so ago about my usual people for information remaining tight lipped on this latest process. Whether its bc they know things and cant say specifics or that they simply are in the dark too, I wasnt too sure...until today.
HOWEVER, one of them, a family member inside the AD, during a conversation this morning, told me just a few more days and Butch is out. Not much more on details other than he has one more game left.
Kentucky will be Butchs last game and its been decided. He wasnt sure if this was part of Curries plan from the beginning when the house of cards started to fall after the GA game (keeping CBJ through the UK game) but, basing this off of my guys comments and upbeat demeanor, it sounds more to me that they were waiting on something to happen or some development to be finalized (buyout details??? Something else???) before severing ties.
Butch will not be the head coach following the Kentucky game.
Also of note, he mentioned things are starting to get public and the AD has maintained a tight lid environment so he cant keep Butch around much longer.
Not sure if this means Currie wanted to keep CBJ longer or to finish the season but I guess you can only keep things quiet for so long. Definitely makes sense that action time is coming and lines up with what he says.
