It’s not my standard.its reality. It’s hard to pull a coach from somewhere. There’s a reason why two programs unquestionably better than ours couldn’t hire a “homerun” it’s hard.

Doubt it. Should’ve been fired 3 weeks ago. Seems like Currie doesn’t give a crap and Butch will probably be here for the season. Might even come back next year if he manages a bowl game.

Sounds plausible. This season is lost. If we do have Gruden in place to be HC, I don't see why keeping Butch around until seasons end would be a bad thing. Gruden would have immediate results in recruiting and coaching assistance.

However, if that is not the case, Butch should have been fired Sunday.

Come on nick lol. If lsu is hiring coach O and usc is hiring Clay Helton then us hiring Mullen is like winning the lotto.

This is something people keep avoiding that is a brutal reality. USC , LSU and Florida are considered more attractive jobs due to recruiting bases and look at their hires recently.

Mr Currie is going higher and higher on people's 'ish list every day with this crap...
At this point, if he keeps Butch till the end and then hires some Dooley 2.0 because he waited too long, folks are going to want him gone quicker than Butch.

They have higher expectations than Vol fans.
