I don't even think the fight is over "balance," although what constitutes balance is up for debate. But there is a movement inside the University that wants to tip the scales heavily on the side of academics. I have seen it and worked in proximity to it first hand. It was one huge concern I had with the selection of Davenport as chancellor.

100% right.

The power struggle began, as some have alluded to, when the AD was placed under the Chancellor. Subsequent bad hires have only compounded it.

My in laws have a house just down the road close to the volunteer fire dept. we go just about every weekend in the summer to enjoy the lake, and my parents recently bought a boat to fish out there quite often too. We fished out by NBF last weekend.

Depending on what type of fishing y'all enjoy, I know some decent hotspots. Holla at me next time y'all go, I'll share a few for you check out.

On mobile, I usually google whatever gif im looking for. Pick one and make sure it plays. Then I go to view image and then copy the link in the bar at the top. Sometimes they just wont work tho.
