Shutting it down for the year. Came to the realization this morning it's just not worth the time investment to follow all the nonsense which is TN football, both on the field and off. Our track record of decision making leads me to believe things will continue to get worse and we'll address mediocrity with a mid-level hire. That's who we are.

Have better things to do at this point and plenty of hobbies looking for attention.. Assuming I'm not alone here. Good luck to those holding out hoping for a 'splash' hire. See ya next decade when perhaps Saban rides off into the sunset.

Maybe Currie’s message to us was that image/video of him lingering after the loss Saturday. He can’t talk about what he’s doing so he sent a message with his body language. That’s all I got.

He’s not going to say anything right now until he’s ready. I wouldn’t worry about this.

I don't like it when HE blames the players, but I don't like the fact that so many Vol fans think these players are untouchable and that we can't criticize.

They're either boys or men. If they're boys, they don't need to be playing football at the NCAA DI level.

It reminds me of the quote "Success has a thousand fathers but failure is an orphan." We want to praise them when they make plays, but when they don't execute, it's on the coach.

I'm 100% done with Butch and think he should shoulder the majority of the blame, but the players are not blameless in our losses.

Okay everyone! I'm out! Work calls (And I've been hitting ignore on that for a couple of weeks now). I'm still at 90%. I believe this will happen after Kentucky, but it might be longer. I feel good about passing the theory mantle on to my fellow Chattanoogans (We're really where it's at) and former Chattanoogans (I'm looking at you UTVolinExile). I'll check back in a bit each day, but no more morning updates.
