If we are inside the five, or it is 3rd and short, let’s put Kmac and Tuttle on one side and give it to Kelly to rumble behind these boys and see if we can score. Use them as Tight ends on one side. What do you say boyzzzz?? What do we have to lose??

Sounds good.

Butch is very receptive to new ideas. Could see implemented by 2035.

JG has to learn to take direct center snap first.

I absolutely loved watching the Bears put Perry in on goal line short yardage.

Everybody knew what was coming. Try to stop him.

Loved. It.

I thought of this last yr. Saban did it twice yesterday for 2 TDs.

Butch would have handed it off 5 yds deep and wouldn't have score either time.

Say what you will about Dooley, but he was very good at using AJ Johnson in this role. I don't think Johnson was ever stopped.

I saw the Bears playing the Panthers today and I just thought about that. I was like hey, you know what, these two big boys could do it, if this coaching staff had the brains for anything of mixing these players up like that and trying different things.

He was the one and only time that Butch Jones tried him against UF on 4th down. One of the infamous losses to UF that should never have come close to happening.

Way too complicated for CBJ. Maybe he’ll listen if you suggest running that out of the shotgun.

Fair enough. Should have said never stopped under Dooley.

And.yet so few teams do this. Why? Because the risk of fumbling the ball is increased dramatically by handing it to someone who doesn't typically carry the football.

If you have the available practice time to work on this then I suppose it's okay to puss it away. However with the way out offense is currently executing is focus my time as a coach on correcting some of those issues before I added a high risk play to the playbook.
