John Harbaugh rumor reminds me of when Lawrence Frank was supposedly a candidate for the men's basketball job.

From KBV in the FF.

-Tennessee’s 108 Offensive yards were it’s least in a game for at least 28 years

-During their touchdown draught of 14 quarters, the Vols have gained a total of 561 yards. Alabama gained 604 on Saturday

-Tennessee has been held under 150 yards total offense twice already this season. That didn’t even happen during the lows of the 2008 season (the Clawfence)

-Tennessee ranks last among all Power 5 teams in the nation (289.7 ypg)

-The Vols were 1 of 12 on 3rd down conversions vs the Tide and are now the worst in the SEC in 3rd down conversions

-Tennessee hasn’t scored a red zone TD in 4 conference games this season

-How badly does this team miss Josh Dobbs, Alvin Kamara and Josh Malone? The Vols finished in the top 20 last season in explosive plays (79 plays of 20 yards or more). They have just 19 such plays all season.....good for No. 126 nationally.

These stats are unacceptable and indefensible. I don’t understand how anyone with a brain can still support Butch.

Does anyone actually still support him? Legitimately haven't seen it other than maybe some devil's advocate arguments here and there.

Always would have been interested to see how that would have played out. It was a bit like Gruden in that he was mentioned in several searches.

You guys are over thinking it

I actually like offenses similar to ours, I just don't like how Butch runs it and how he has zero flexibility to do things like go under center, bring in an extra OL for short yardage, bring in a DT as a fullback.... stuff like that. Those things aren't hard to implement to use in certain situations.

Edit* I'm not advocating going to a three yards in a cloud of dust offense.

It's the demanding fans that are the problem. Not the piss poor coach or impotent AD.

Demanding if it's excessive is a problem. You don't threaten or cause grief for somebody's family. Would you want your wife or child to read 85SugarVol eats d*** as someone's twitter handle?

I agree with this. Some fans definitely cross the line. I'm sure that isn't limited to Tennessee fans tho
