As I said earlier, this isn't a matter of national security. A misinformation campaign sounds like a bad plot point, not a real thing concerning a FOOTBALL COACH.

I recommended it earlier, but read “The System”. It explains why Saban is coach at Bama instead of Rich Rod, who was originally hired. Part of that was due to leaking information, IIRC.

Information is an extremely valuable commodity in business deals of any consequence. It is jealously guarded and leaks have torpedoed many a deal, for many reasons.

Just understand that nothing is free. As a general rule, If you don’t have a stake in the deal and you’re being given information that would appear valuable, the information either has no value; the person giving it away is an idiot (who could unintentionally jeopardize the deal); or someone is trying to effect perception of the deal to control outcomes and/or manage expectations. The latter would be the case with many “leaks” that make it onto message boards of a fanbase as vocal as ours.

He hasn't had two 5 win seasons yet. Fulmer got his pink slip on his way to his second. Majors had 4...5 if you go with the wins credited to him in his final season, and 4 wins in his debut season. That's long and WORN as far as leashes go.
