That is a shame.... I wonder if the guy even knew he was talking to possibly one of the most talented QBs in Tennessee history... shame what happened to that guy... he could have been a the real deal

HE WAS THE REAL DEAL. Too bad he liked coke too much.

Tony Robinson was at the Alabama game for the first time since he was injured there all those year ago. He said he told the guy next to him that when he was at UT we beat them 4 years straight. Guy looked at him and said "yeah, right". It is only a fable now that we were ever any good apparently.

Doesn't surprise me, most of those bandwagon jumpers believe Mike Price won a natty there too.....

Gruden/Peyton were offered the coach/gm roles in Indy in January of this year. They turned it down. To think Gruden would walk away from Andrew Luck and Peyton from the place with his statue out front for Cleveland is laughable at minimum.

The Grude abides....the sincerity level needs to increase in here. Also, 2012 was a real run at Grude and most "insiders" at the time denied anything happened at all with him. Now they acknowledge that it did. Not sure why their story changed over the last 5 years.

I don't see that. I see "6:15 deadline for a change to be made. Otherwise this account, my radio show and podcast will pretend Tennessee football doesn't exist"

EDIT: I don't twitter though, so I may be missing something.

I have a wide and kids . Im telling rha truth and nothing but the truth was told to me regards to butch and Jon's job security... Jon Gruden is getting fired from Monday night raw tonight!!!!

What are you going to do swear on your land next..Jesus who are you Squanto

Some people buy tickets well in advance and only are able to make it to one game. It seems unfair to them and their kids to expect them to boycott the game. It's also a little bit sad for the players to play in a partially empty stadium. What I would like to see is a "black out" as a show of displeasure in the state of the program in general and Jones in particular. If every fan attending the game that was disillusioned and ready to see Jones fired wore black, it would be a powerful statement. I think it would speak more loudly than empty seats. It would say "we're still here, we're more passionate than ever, and a change must be made." Empty seats are often interpreted as apathy and a lack of passion.

BLACK OUT EVERY HOME GAME UNTIL JONES IS GONE!

John Reed said on twitter that he won't be disappointed after 6:15. Don't know anything about him or if he is legit or not

Read his tweets just before that one, and he gives context. He's saying that if Butch isn't fired by 6:15 p.m. today, that he is going to pretend that Tennessee football doesn't exist.

Someone said you're going to be disappointed at 6:15. What you quoted was part of his response. He's basically saying if it doesn't happen he's done with TN football.

I am of the opinion that he is already fired. He is just finishing out the terms of said termination.

I’m basing this opinion on some info I received that was not passed on here (VN)

Let’s all go out and look for billboards and meet back here in 2 hours. Good? Alright, ready go!

I have to say, I took one for the team a few minutes ago. Very seldom do I feel like an idiot as much as I do in this moment. I called a pilot store in Knoxville, apologized for my question first, but that I had to ask. " A rumor has been circulating on message boards that Corp has asked that all Butch Jones items be taken down. Is there any truth to it? Taken back by his immediate response..."are you talking about the Tennessee coach?" I said yes, he said they have not received that info, if the decision was made over the weekend, they wouldn't get that info till Monday... :spank:
