...if we except this then we have to let go of the whole “ I can’t coach at Tennessee because I have too many friends” info. That list would go up in flames like the bridge that it’s attached to.

I wish there was a filter where you have to have so many posts to post in these threads. Wouldn't root out all of the problems but most of them.

don't know about that. seen the chatter but not positive it happens.

I would not be surprised at Peyton going into a front office in the NFL... Think that is what he wants to do long term. He could still have influence in Knoxville as well. Just not so sure its the Browns

Butch’s firing date seems like the most irrelevant piece of the pie. Why everyone is clamoring for it to be today, tomorrow or Tuesday seems like a waste of energy.

Well I have to say, listening to the Tennessee Coach Show...it doesn't sound like Coach Jones thinks he's going anywhere anytime soon.

Man at this point, rather than get some turd up and comer, I'd rather give it to Fulmer, give him a blank check to get the best assistants money could buy.

I'd rather have that than some clown poser.

I have gotten various feedback on when he might be terminated all week. everything from today to end of season. I have not had anyone say they believe he will be back next season. I don't believe he will be back..

I'm afraid a bowl game is a long shot also.. I think we likely lose this Saturday and that could be the trigger for a firing.

I understand the fanbase wants a proven coach. but the thing is there isnt a proven coach that wants to take this job. Many schools have struck gold with up and comer coaches. Georgia has lived off that for a long time now. Florida does the same thing. Im not looking for a huge name hire here. Its going to be someone like.
