Good morning my fellow Grudenites!

I've just caught up (again) and here are my thoughts from the overnight.

-Stripling? Bizarro world. I doubt that. Interesting that it came from someone whose rep would seriously be on the line.

- I'm fairly certain that if someone else trots in here claiming to know contract numbers that my homie, UTVolinExile's head is going to explode.

-learning that LWS gets his info from fulmer actually helped me discount it.

-At some point if Gruden is continuing to come to the table and have his demands met, and waste our time, his reputation as a professional will start to diminish. He knows this and his agent knows this.

-If everyone connected to the AD was saying the same thing I'd be more inclined to believe, but there are some claiming to get their info from there trotting out numbers.

-There is one poster on here not getting info from either camp but I believe his to be the most solid. He says nothing has changed. He might be trolling me, but I don't think so.

- My husband is starting to recognize that I'm spending all my time chatting with a bunch of men. He claims it's like him going to ladies night at a bar. Let's keep it clean-ish and straight for the duration so I can stay please!

Let him know not all of us are guys!

Went to the game - been trying to catch up for 3 days and am still 10 pages behind - but I’m here!

OMG. What's the likelihood of a game getting cancelled this year? My point is that we very well good lose 8 games this year, in which case we lose that bragging right. Good Lord.

Actually you are the one making a big deal out not being able to admit you were wrong.

Why is it so hard for some to grasp that it is loses that matter, not wins, when referring to Tennessee and Ohio State as being the only two schools that have never lost more than 7 games?

Hutch7 is posting on TOS this morning. Basically says:

Gruden to the Vols doesn't look good right now.

Poster: why?

Haslems are heavily involved.

Poster: I thought Haslems wanted him?

Hutch: they do if you get what I mean.

He thinks he's going to the Browns

All of this will turn out to be Gruden to the Browns as HC and Peyton as GM.

Oh lawd! Lulz!

Anyone who thinks Butch is back next year clearly doesn’t have a clue. We haven’t scored an offensive TD in a month and people really think he’ll be back??

Why is he still here. I feel like a hostage as a fan at this point

We are 0-4 in the SEC in year 5. Our coaches have been on video, our fans get it. Our booster and administration better get it. Folk saying we can't fire him after Bama because it was expected loss don't get, if anyone is banking on us winning out DON"T GET IT. People that think you can't fire him after a freakin Kentucky win don't get it. If this is the attitude of the folks in charge they don't get it either. If they trot out Butch Jones in Neyland they will be sent a message. I had a friend tell me a week ago that there was actually some boosters that wanted to keep Butch next year and see what happens. Frankly we don't need boosters that think like that at Tennessee. If that is their thinking it will be until they are gone before we do the right thing. Tennessee fans are loyal but if they think they are going to stand for business as usual they will be as shocked as the national press was on election day. The damn well better get, they are the ones that will look like the laughingstock, it won't be the fans. The great majority don't expect us to win every game, but we should have a coach that can compete with anyone in the SEC x and o wise and recruiting wise. The money that is brought into this program for a bunch of inept decision makers to screw it up with mediocre expectations and not striving for the best will bite them in the rear if they screw it up. FACT! PLEASE SOON!!!! GBO!!!!! To the administration YOUR IDENTITY IS ON THE CLOCK!

No I'm not. I agree I was wrong about the less than 5 wins. You're right UT has never lost more than 8 in a season. I apologize for getting that backwards. Either way that wasn't my point. My point is that long standing streak has a good chance of getting lost this season. To me that's more important that a couple million dollars of buyout money. :hi:
