If Butch is not fired by Monday, then I believe the ancillary aspects of the deal have not been dealt with. Assistant coaches still under contract and unavailable for now. That's not to say Butch will be our coach until they are open to acquisition. That's what I believe is the snag.

How in the world could “possibly” even be included in that statement??

I find his continued presence as our coach mystifying. He’s done nice things for the program sure. But he’s also set plenty of dubious records in his time at Tennessee and he’s staring down the barrel of the program’s first eight loss season. It’s ridiculous.
