Chip Kelly had an 18 month show cause after he left Oregon for recruiting violations. Just google “Chip Kelly NCAA sanctions”.

That was years in the past. I think he's the obvious #2 target although I think he will have options where life may be easier. The lure of the Grumors is, in part, that he probably has very little interest in coaching college but he may just have enough connections to UTK that there would be a special appeal and maybe we could help him make the leap. My guess is, if Gruden says no as a final answer, our best chance at a football genius is Petrino. We live in a state where people still go to church and hold poisonous snakes to show their faith. Are we going to hire a guy with Petrino's back story even if he is out best option? I don't know.

And if Tennessee does another Dooley/Jones fiasco then well we will be in purgatory for another 5-6 years.

Many of you thought Dooley was a good hire and Jones was a good hire. So perhaps you all should STFU and GTFU!
