I don't know how likely it is that Gruden will accept, but the offer UT has put together (with some help from a certain Silicon Valley VC firm) definitely has his attention.

Currie about 2 days From Becoming another Hamilton and Hart if jones is here Monday in my book. He might have a something going on and I hope so. UT is burning down and not a Fire Truck with in a 100 miles.

I think a lot of people are lol. Tennessee is a brand. It's not just a football team or university. Goes way beyond that. This time people understand it. And will go about it an do what they need to do. The last two Ad's weren't business men. They didn't have balls nor were they shrewd. Currie seems to be that guy.

My take on it.

All insiders are spinning the same story, he turned down the job b/c he didn't wanna put friendships in jepardy/ruin reputation. Seems like a bad excuse, and all insiders that have said this get their info from the UTAD. Except 1 insider on another site. Volfan30 is a legit insider on SECrant and he says he talked to someone who spoke with Gruden last week. He said that Jon Gruden expects to be the next HC. What's different about this info is that it came from the Gruden side not the UTAD. Now if you believe him is another story and if all our insiders here are wrong it would be an epic showing of the deception of John Currie. I guess we'll all find out when the next coach walks up to the podium...
