This is what I was hoping we'd find. I think these sources are now being fed propaganda to keep the heat off until Currie and Gruden either have an agreement or walk Way.

The numbers were big, the terms of program control were in line with what he would like. I just don't think he wants to be the HC at UT. I can't blame him, it's hard to come home and put your reputation on the line and risk being hated instead of loved. He really loves UT, loves hanging out here and wants to see the program succeed.
I think you are going to hear the most about Scott Frost. I know for a fact that he will be interested in UT

Gruden was the youngest coach to win the Super Bowl at the time. I do not think he is conerned about "putting his reputation on the line". He is a type A personality.

And don't give me that Scott Frost shyte .

Kind of odd that the information came out shortly before kickoff. HMMMM. Like the powers that be were negotiation this afternoon.

Gonna throw this out for everyone to consider.

Something happened Tuesday. Disinformation started Wednesday. People are being fed nuggets, some true some half true, some false. Some of these people believe they are bringing good info. The net result is to cause everyone to think "this is just like 2012 again" and move on.

So today, we have Matt's :) and now JAV's "no-go." I'm going to stick with what I believed on Tuesday, before things got really crazy, and that's to be skeptical of specific info from any source, and stay steady with what I believe the situation was before the insanity started.

Until I hear Gruden or Currie deny it, or we see another coach at the podium, I think it's Gruden. TIFWIW.

I concur - Dont think our AD and power people would be in any negotiations today prior to the Bama game.
