I may sound like a broken record but until Gruden publicly rejects the UT job or we hire someone else, I will remain all in on Gruden.
If Currie and the big $$$ boosters are doing a full court press on Gruden then we will undoubtedly hear a lot of misinformation. That said I really don't understand the cloak and dagger nonsense. Just go after him and make him say no; Saban said no a number of times even to the media and then he becomes Bama's coach.
But if Gruden says no I would sure as hell leak it to the media because it would give the UT AD and Admin some much needed fresh wind and fresh good pub. I would not take it as a negative if Gruden said no because it would let the world know that UT had gotten serious about football!
Agreed. It's the same thing every day. He's coming he not he's coming he's not.Honestly, I think you should just watch the board for a few more hours. The narrative will inevitably swing again. Thats pretty much how it goes all day every day.
found it he did say Gruden is a no go along with below:
The numbers were big, the terms of program control were in line with what he would like. I just don't think he wants to be the HC at UT. I can't blame him, it's hard to come home and put your reputation on the line and risk being hated instead of loved. He really loves UT, loves hanging out here and wants to see the program succeed.
I think you are going to hear the most about Scott Frost. I know for a fact that he will be interested in UT
