Can we just get this game played tomorrow? Get through the formalities of the inevitable beat down so we can get to the light at the end of the tunnel please?

You need a 24 hour vacation from this thread. I was posting whining stuff last night just like you are. It will really help you to take a break from VN.

I'll be ok in the morning, I'm 6 tall shots of Tennessee whiskey in this evening. Started self medicating early.

Tomorrow would probably be a good time for that. I wouldn't expect any news until Sunday at the earliest. It's not like Currie would have Butch escorted from the stadium after the game...right?

I can't even sleep cause I want saturday games to get here. Not to watch Bama/Tenn but watch what happens afterwards. #VFL #FIREBUTCH #SOON

I don't drink, so I had to grab a circular saw this morning and cut some plywood up. It's very therapeutic.

I've done some of that the past month. Been building coops for my daughter's chickens. I love building things, it is nice to get away from the managerial and technical duties my work demands. And the whiskey helps take the edge off of rough days like this one. Terminating people is never fun.

My wife's gotten into the "antiques made to order" trade and I've been making frames for her and I set her up a work station in the garage today. We can finally start using our kitchen table again for eating on instead of an assembly line.

What kind of wood do you use? Salvaged barnwood? Pallets?

I have made most of my daughter's coops and chicken runs from pallets. We aren't hurting for money or anything but I prefer to make things from pallet wood, I also go down to the local river and salvage barnwood and other lumber that washes up to make signs what not.

Yes. Whatever she drags in. It's been a mix. She's bought trim, plywood, pallets, whatever she wants. We've been married 17 years so I quit fussing with her and just do it.

* I did shiplap our bed frame. It turned out really nice. She bought the wood at Lowe's and chalk painted it after I installed it.
