And since MIT is presently in Vegas, he would either have had to have driven there or already had a pic of his plate. Or I guess could have had a friend take it but seems strange. And what does a bmw with MIT frame prove anyway?
Still hope his posts are accurate though.

Reminds me of a guy who worked for me.

"I'm a fine arts dealer, and I'm going to Vegas after work tonight."

Yeah, ok buddy.

So, my theory is that after the Alabama game last year, things started moving in this direction. Everyone with any critical thinking skills knew that we were going to need a new coach, and that an up and comer wasn't going to cut it. Cue Currie in February. Peyton does the leg work to patch things up between Currie and Fulmer. Cue Fulmer in June. I believe that this has been going on for months. I think that Gruden (or his agent) could see the writing on ESPN's wall, and they knew an exit strategy was needed. The pieces I heard that solidified this part for me was the part about the Gruden family's house search starting before the Florida game. Also, the fact that any immediate member of the family is even alluding to the possibility in public tells me that his part of the deal is done. These folks aren't new to the world of being in the public eye. Their son wouldn't be talking if he wasn't supposed to. He grew up with a very famous dad, he knows how to do things, and he doesn't need the attention. That brings me to the most fascinating piece of this whole thing which is the fact that the son is an AGR. He could have picked any fraternity, and he picks AGR. This tells me SO MUCH about that family. I think this tidbit is way undervalued I digress...

I think that Orlando Vol brought the goods last night. He confirmed that puzzle piece for me. I also think that Currie or his office intentionally sent trolls to muddy the waters. Trolls with many different stories, many of which hold a nugget of truth. Some may not even know they are trolling us (or trying to).

This theory is about human nature, and the way big business is done. It is not about Butch Jones losing football games he shouldn't. He has wanted out since last year. His family has wanted out. I think Currie wanted to wait until the end of the season. Maybe he will and maybe he won't. I've thought that Fulmer as interim was absurd. However, if it is Fulmer there is absolutely no way that the ink isn't dry on Gruden.

Again, only a theory based on obsessiveness.

As theories based on observations, this is pretty much in line with my thinking based purely on observations.

To me, concerning Butch's time at UT was solidified that at the very least would end this year is the fact that he hired Sexton. One hires him to get a BIG extension or to get a new job.

SOON!!!

If he does get to leave on his terms so to speak, it makes sense that he'd wanna try to go out with a win, rather than the bamabeatdownthatscoming.

After a couple of posts this morning, I have thought it will be after his next loss past Bama... If it is Ky, LSU etc.. I don't know but that is just my opinion

Makes all the sense in the world.
I believe it.
I'm in.
Still hate the cloak and dagger stuff coming out of the AD, but I understand it.

If there's one thing I'll give the beaver credit for it's this: there was no "i can't say but just got some great news!" Or any of that beating around the bush crap. He went all in and said ignore everything else Gruden is our next coach. He gave himself zero out should this thing not happen. It's a bold move Cotton, let's see if it pays off.

You get a like for using both the beaver and beating around the bush. :hi:

Why is his son being AGR a big deal?

Not a big deal as much as fascinating and demonstrative of the Gruden's being relatively down to earth. AGR is not one of the flashier fraternities, particularly if you aren't studying agriculture in some capacity.

Well, well, well, Hymans is reporting Jones will be the coach at least through the Kentucky game. If true and we will know by COB Sunday, which means a lot of trolls will be exposed on this thread ... It will be hilarious how they will be doing the ole "I never really said that" backtrack. On the other hand, if the posters who claim to be "in the know" are correct, we will ALL know if they are or not by COB Sunday. A lot of questions will be answered within 72 hours. Is DTO and the rest of the "gang" really "in the know"? lol

My guess is, and I could be wrong, is that every person who stated they were "in the know" on this thread about Jones being fired on Sunday are playing a lot of people ... we will see shortly ...

Could you please quote or cite the post that either BORO, DTO or others have posted that promised that Butch will be out after Bama? TIA :)

What's up with this Haslam donation? I saw a bunch of people yammering about it on Facebook. Did it just happen today or is this old news?

Also, isn't agr the frat in charge of smokey? I took you saying that to mean his son wanted to be around the football program in some form or fashion. Am i off target here?

In Hamilton County you can apply for a waiver to not require the emissions test if the car is being used primarily in another state. A couple of years ago, my dad gave me a car that was registered in Hamilton. I was living in South GA and it would have been a pain in the rear to get it tested. For 3-4 years I didn't have to get it tested because it was in my father's name as a resident of Tennessee, but was used in GA.
