I agree completely. I guess I should’ve said if we don’t land a big time coach. Then again, some people think Jeff Brohm is a big time coach.

I want to believe Boro and DTO. They haven't given me reason not to yet. But after last night if it turns out not to be a Gruden or some other big fish it's gonna get ugly and they will bare the brunt of it. They know this but continue to stick to the reliability of the info they are getting. This give me faith, it just doesn't make sense why they would do it otherwise.

They (maybe one person) don't care if you believe them or not. Nor do they care if they're trolling because they enjoy getting there jolly's off by getting everyone excited.

Okay this is random, but, I'm sending out some friend requests.

I figured if my ignore list was growing during the Gruden threads, so should my friends list. Any likeminded OG Gruden folk wanna be friends, shoot me a line, er, however you say it.

That's for sure. You can get an idea from folks around the program or even from the other side of the table. Some of it matches up...that's usually pretty good. But Currie is running a tight ship.

I don't know if Gruden said yes, or no...only that they are talking. And somebody made a good point....Saban said no multiple times. We could just be in the negotiating stage. I'm pretty sure their resolve is not to stop at the first no.

There is a lot to be said for running a tight ship in these matters. If Currie came out and announced that he was intent on hiring Gruden and then it didn't happen, that would be a big disappointment to most Vol fans. Kinda like some felt when Jones was announced as coach.

And if Gruden knew you were hell bent on hiring him, his price would probably go up.

Even if they do end up taking the “brunt of it,” they took their lumps 5 years ago and survived no worse for wear. I don’t know whether they’re trolling or not, but they’ve sure made an otherwise dreadful time on the boards exciting again. For that, I commend them.
