Absolutely not. The dude got exposed about as badly as one can. It’s a stressful time being a sports fan during a coaching transition, and when a long-shot homerun hire has any kind of plausibility (even if it’s less than 1%) feeding into that, and making the masses even more anxious, with outright lies and fabrications is a despicably low thing to do. He can kick rocks.

4 hours ago everyone was ready to lynch the guy, and an hour after that everyone was all apologies and make up kisses. This lot is about as bi-polar and gullible as it gets and hundreds (thousands?) of posts flood out the second an “insider” posts ellipses or bread-crumb vagueness that amounts to nothing. If anyone with a 10k+ post count says “it’s done” or “boom” people lose their damn minds and the firework gifs start flowing.

We’ve been here before and not a person here was truly reliable when it came to any sort of rumor regarding Gruden or our last coaching search. Everyone was updating Twitter and watching ESPN as Jones was rolling into Knoxville while losing their collective minds on this forum praying it was fake. But again, short memories I guess.

I think some people understand that sometimes deals fall apart. Even after they seem to be agreed to. Gruden himself admitted some kind of conversation happened in 2012. Just because it didn’t happen last time, or this time. Doesn’t mean anyone was lying. We DID try last time, and we ARE trying this time. Will it happen? Who really knows? I live in K-town, and everyone I know says that something is going on. Lots of smoke, usually means fire? I believe!! 🔜

I know DTO...his dad was my HS gym teacher. The biggest mistake I've made is telling him via VN to go ahead and tell EB4H what we had talked about, since they were meeting at the game.

I'm not in with anyone other than DTO.

My source has cut me off twice, last time I talked to him was after Saturday game and he said people were upset and wanted Butch gone then, but later texted and said cooler heads were prevailing.... now will not answer a text or anything

Actually not. Feel free to look at my first post since 2012 (about 5 hours ago) where I blatantly say I don’t believe anything posted on this forum. I fell for it back then, and it was a bad time. I have no sympathy for the same BS the second go round, nor to the people who are Groundhog Day’ing fake insider news. I simply came back to verify the radio report on Fox News earlier since there was disagreement on its validity and somehow found numerous people tripping over themselves to excuse someone blatantly lying about being an insider. I don’t post much on this forum (obviously) but on the forums I do - that’s a career wrecker. Pick a new username and start over, because you’re done (and rightfully so)
