Don't try and overthink this. His role as interim is just to be the head practice and game day coach. His coordinators will call the sets and plays that he would like to see based on the existing offense and defense. No changing the offense or defense necessary, Fulmer would work with what's in place... just a lot better than what CBJ has done.

I don’t know if I want Fulmer to be interim because I’m afraid his camp would try to put the band back together. But I would rally like crazy for that guy the rest of the season. Would be cool to see him go out on like a 5-0 run.

From what I have heard, he has no interest in coaching again. He's enjoying his new role in the AD.

Basically all the other coaches besides maybe Gillespie would be Dead men walking. Fulmer with the true interest of UT at heart could keep the recruiting class intact till we could hire the best coach. Gruden has his ESPN contract, most of the great college coaches would be winning and someone like Jim Bob cooter would be held up by NFL obligations..

I'd love it, but I'm a Fulmer fan for life.

We could probably do a lot worse than Fulmer, Chavis, and someone like Randy Sanders at OC.

But there's just no way I'd be onboard with those guys coming back for any extended period of time. Don't think Fulmer would want the stress either. Too old.

Yeah. I could get down for a nostalgia interim run but not a new reign of Fulmer.

To be fair, Kress isn't the one that said Butch got a DUI. He just said they were working on something to get Butch outta here and it was "huge". Someone else said the DUI part

I know that you guys aren't the biggest fan of Kress, and I wasn't either,, though he has proven to be right about Butch. But if you want to laugh, go listen to the first hour of his show 3&out. I was cackling on my way to work tonight. It was hilarious! The #Grumors are so tasty!
