Sure it's disappointing, maddening, etc., but it's football man. There is nothing better than watching the boys run through the T from Neyland stadium. Even on a bad day, or a hot day, or on a day when Butch leads them out.

We wait, and talk, and dream all year for just a couple handfuls of Saturdays to get here. Don't wish them away.

Watch the young players, they are the future. Watch JG, watch Trey Smith, watch Ty Chandler and Quarte Sapp.

Following Vol football is still the most fun you can have with your pants on. Even during seasons like this that are painful.

That's very relative

I actually think Gruden is more realistic than Fuente, Patterson, Jimbo etc...

I think Frost is THE next big thing in college football. I think he is more desirable than Herman was last year.

Would take any. Mullen least favorite on that list. Don't believe stoops is realistic.

Basically everyone has one from the previous person's list they wouldn't take but the lists are going to be roughly 80 to 90% the same.

So now we know who UT won't hire.

Is there any scenario where we go get tee Martin and maybe try to convince shoop to stay or get a top level DC?

This is a bad argument that cuts both ways lol


But Peterson being picky about jobs is well known. If you can work the google, you can read all about why and how selective he’s been about where he wants to coach. The guy was at BSU 8 years and could have his pick of any school in any coaching search from 2009-2013.

He stayed put much longer than most G5 HCs would in that position. Hard to see some busy working at an FCS school out East having too much pull on him there lol
