Yes. But it wasnt Currie that contacted him. He has been reached out to is my understanding.

I just can’t 100% confirm. I do think it happened though.

Just curious if everyone could have their pick of a “semi realistic candidate” not named Gruden. Who would you hire?

Regarding the locker room - players feel they get the runaround from Butch. That related to any concerns or discussions about things, he just gives lip service. They’re over it.

Nothing ground breaking, but pretty much confirms what’s going on.

Trying to see if I can get anything related to thoughts on coach transitioning timing and what players might think.

Wow, you get that many teenagers and young adults together, many of whom are very competitive, and their beef is this? If that's true then Butch is doing very well with them.

I've taught high school for 20 years and done a lot of coaching of various sports. By their nature they do a lot of complaining, about a lot of things. This is actually good news to me. There's got to be more.

I think there are 5 candidates that are actually in play this go round that would be great hires. Much better than last time around.

Kelly is looking for a job. Pay him $6mil and go win the east.

I don't think Patterson or Petersen would leave their current jobs and If I had to go with a current coach I'd go get Fuente, Frost, Taggart or Mullen. Shouldn't have to settle for less.

Edit: definitely Stoops if he would listen.

Didn’t get to delve into things as much as I hoped. This was very, very surface info.

Asked do they like him, first response was “they feel like he gives them the runaround.”

Those would all field calls from us. Which gives us a chance. The fact the Currie is so secretive gives potential candidates more trust in him too.

That's something I didn't think of. Hart is knocking on people's front doors, Currie gonna dig a tunnel from the next block over.

I would be just as excited to get Peterson, Patterson, or Kelly. Don't know how semi-realistic any of them would be though.
