My nephew is in the same fraternity as Gruden's son. He talked to Michael and he stated that his dad has serious interest in the job if his requirements are met.

And this is most likely why Butch is still employed...it keeps the press off the scent. Think about it. While Butch is employed, the press has no reason to question Currie about any coaching search. Butch is providing the perfect cover.
