I think he's happy at Mississippi State (yes, I know that sounds crazy), and I wonder if he's just using the situation to get another raise and extension.

I'm not sure if he's happy there right now or not. I do think that he's probably looking at the looming sanctions from the NCAA on Ole Miss as an opportunity to really rise. I think he's banking most instate talent will be coming his way.

Honestly, I don't think it would happen overnight. That's probably not realistic for even Jon Gruden. I think he may need as much as 2 or 3 full days. jmo.
