I have a legit question and I want everyones opinions. What if the almost impossible happens and we legit somehow get Gruden? What would your honest reactions be? How would the fan base in general respond as a collective? I know that a Jon Gruden hire would 100 percent salvage the recruiting class and make alot of fans happy....but whats your personal opinion your thoughts if it actually happened?

Wait a second. That's what I do anyway even when we are a dumpster fire.

I can't even begin to overstate the absolute joy I would feel. At least 95% of the fan base would be excited about Gruden. He would be the most unifying hire for the fan base possible.

I was all in last time but never really had that gut feeling he was coming here. This time however I just know for some reason that he's going to be our next coach. I haven't been wrong yet when I get this feeling and my wife asks me all the time if there is something going on if I have my feeling (that's what she calls it ) if I say yes then she knows it's going to happen. She asked me last night if I had it and I said yes. She called her mom and told her that Gruden was going to our next coach because I said so. Now it's written in stone lol

I would feel like I just saw Moses in the flesh.

This would be a huge national story if it happened. It would dominate sports talk shows for at least a few days.

I have told, and it seems several others that a real effort will be made to hire a top notch coach.

If you get you information from anyone in the Knoxville media don?t trust it... I have lived here my entire life and can confirm they NEVER get anything right until it is announced in a press conference... this includes the folks on TOS

I believe from what I have been told we will make a hard run at Gruden.... will he take the position here.... the only people who know that is himself and possibly his wife..... his agent may not even Know until Gruden tell him he wants the position...

Now let?s enjoy this ride and watch for what come out today...

I know thats a smokescreen or whatever-it better be. But nothing makes me more furious....he was a mediocre offensive coordinator, did less with more at UGA on the level of a Randy Sanders. He's an uninspiring head coach with decent recors but the main thing is, he's Georgia through and through. It just seems wrong, he spent all but 3 years of his adult life at UGA as a player or coach. He was a high profile player that I remember well the vols playing against.

I hated him then and now. Its giving me cognitive dissonance...well, its making me mad as hell just thinking about it.
